The Wrong Way Down Cars

The First Car has arrived and its an M reg 1.5 GL Proton Auto, yes an Automatic!
MOT till Oct 08 and 144000 miles on the clock.
Left it standing for a few days and the boot is full of water as well as the foot wells.
Starts ok but the tick over is a little rough.
Brakes are completely gone but it has a Blaupunkt radio and the owner left a cassette in the 
car and a 1/4 of a tank of petrol worth at least a tenner.

Ok, here we are !

We now have two total sheds, oops sorry, fantastic motors. The other car taking its place in the rally is a 1995 1.6 Escort. It looks nice in the picture but it's actually a pile of the proverbial. Look past the central locking and the sun roof and it is a great little skip on wheels. However, with an MOT till Feb 09, yes Feb 09, it has all it needs to get to Naples and it meets all of the rules that are laid down by the organisers.

It has been decided by the toss of a coin that The Wrong Way Down will have the pleasure of driving the Proton to Italy and The Wrong Way Down Too will have the skip. Place your bets at the 'just giving' site as to who will make it there first, or indeed, who will make there it at all!!

Questions are being asked on the year and registration of this car. As you can see from the photo it is a 1995 on an M reg Plate.
